Oh, okay, so you're running a mixture of Office XP (2002) and Office 2003
programs? Have you updated Office XP with the Office XP Pack for Tablet PC
available here;
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&familyid=33790048-269b-4838-ab9e-74b64626a494 ?
If you have these combinations going you may have the problem described in
the "Restore Full Functionality to Journal with Office 2003" section (third
item) on my Tips and Tricks page:
http://nicecreations.us/tips_and_tricks.htm
See if that will help you.

Post by Chris H.Dennis, did this just suddenly happen, or did you perhaps install something
recently? Are you running a version of Office on your Tablet PC?

Post by DennislThis happens most of the time but not all the time. When I open Microsoft
Windows Journal, it comes up right away but I have to wait 10 or 15 seconds
until the hour glass disappears and I can write. This didn't use to happen
and occassionally it still doesn't. Most of the time it does. Please advise.
This has been happening for awhile now (4 months or so). Not sure what
was installed that could have caused it. I'm running SP2 and I do have
Office XP installed. Due to network connections at work, Outlook is 2003.
